GVFPD Training Room

The GVFPD Training Room is available for rental.  The room is 44 ft. by 76 ft. and will seat approximately 220 people with tables and chairs.  Approximately 36 tables and 120 chairs are availabe and their use is included in the rental fee.  Additional seating, if needed, is the responsibility of the renter.  If your use requires two separate but large rooms, the Training Room can be split into two separate rooms through the use of sound proof dividing walls. 

If you prefer a room that is smaller than the full 44 ft. by 76 ft. Training Room you may rent half of the room.  Each half of the Training Room has its own entrance from the lobby and one or more separate outside entrances.  The West Training Room has a garage style entry door for moving vehicles or large equipment in or out.  The East Training Room has direct access to the Kitchen facility.  Either room has convenient access to the public rest rooms off of the station's main lobby.

Kitchen Facilities:  A beautiful full-service kitchen is adjacent to the training room and is available for use with an additional cleaning deposit fee.  The kitchen facilities include the use of the refrigerator, microwave, stove oven, coffee maker, utensils, cookware, tables and chairs. 

Catering:  Outside catering may be brought into any contracted meeting space; however GVFPD will not provide arrangements for any catering services.  Clients are solely responsible for all ordering, for set-up and removal of all catered items.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is eligible to use the Training Room?
Non-profit community organizations and individuals can reserve the meeting room for informational, educational or cultural meetings and events.  Meetings and Events must not be "for profit" and must be "non-commercial" as solely determined by the GVFPD.

How do I apply for use of the Training Room?
All organizations and individuals must complete the GVFPD Application form and receive the District's approval before the room can be reserved.  Obtain the Application form here.

How much parking space is available?
Parking is available for a least 40 vehicles and the facility is fully handicapped accessible.

What is the fire code rated room capacity?
The standing room capacity of the full Training Room is 650 individuals or will seat approximately 220 people comfortably.
