Steve Rippy
Steve Rippy is a Colorado native and a life long resident of the New Castle, Colorado area. Following his graduation from Rifle High School, Steve attended college in North Dakota at Jamestown College and later attended Mesa State College in Grand Junction, Colorado.
His work experience includes:
- Garfield County Deputy Assessor, 1987-1994
- Garfield County Assessor, 1994-2001
- New Castle Town Administrator, 2001-2006
- New Castle Community Development Director, 2006-2007
- Battlement Mesa Metro District Manager, 2009 to Present
In addition, Steve served on the Newcastle, Colorado Town Council, 1987-1994 and as the Mayor of Newcastle from 1994-2001.
