  • Movie Night at Grand Valley High School in The Nest (Gym), 7:00 PM

  • The Indoor Snowball Fight Finals in The Nest (Gym), 7:00 PM  (The high school advisory classes compete in competitions against one another in a snowball - dodge ball game)


Friday, January 24, 2014

  • Grand Valley High School Pep Assembly, 1:30 PM - 3:55 PM in The Nest (Gym)
  • Parade of Lights, 5:30 - 6:00 PM.  Line up for the registered floats is 4:00 PM at the Bea Underwood Elementary School.  Parade begins at Saddleback Center and follows a circuitous course to the Grand Valley Recreation Center.
  • Royalty Crowning and Parade Winner Presentation, 6:30 PM - 7:00 PM, in the lobby at the Grand Valley Recreation Center.  Refreshments.


Saturday, January 25, 2014

  • Ice Fishing Contest, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at Sunset Lake on Grand Mesa.  Participants must be 15 years or younger.  Registrations are available at Bea Underwood Elementary, Grand Valley Middle School or HERE (Information) (Registration Form).  All children must have a registration with the waiver signed before they can attend the Ice Fishing Contest.  The bus will leave Bea Underwood Elementary parking lot at 10:00 AM.  Entries age 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.  Ice Fishing Contest will last from 12 Noon to 2:00 PM (weather depending).  Bus will return to Bea Underwood approximately 3:30 PM.  Participants MUST register before Monday, January 20th!
  • Grand Valley High School Boys & Girls Basketball at GVHC against Moffat County, 12:00 Noon to 4:00 PM
  • Grand Valley High School Wrestling at Rifle, 9:00 AM.
  • Grand Valley Middle School Winter Fest Dance, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
  • Grand Valley High School Winter Fest Dance, 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM in Cardinal Hall
